The Priest, this old devil! (Sacré curé!)

The presbytery was, once, the theatre of a continual coming and going. The priest was his flock’s confidant and had an answer to everything – From the financial problems and sickness to the neighbour quarrels, et cetera. The The priest, this old devil! (Sacré curé!) exhibit immerses you in the everyday life of Winceslas Théophile Fréchette, priest of Batiscan between 1843 and 1875, as well as Adéline, his housekeeper, arriving at the presbytery at 15 of age. Many juicy anecdotes are waiting for you!
